Responsabilities

Provide customers with value-added solutions;

  • Identify the need for additional services for existing clients and identify potential clients;
  • Carrying out, planning and supervising audit assignments within established deadlines and budgets;
  • Act as an advisor to the Certification Department staff, assisting them in resolving problems;
  • Carry out an in-depth review of the file and ensure that the deliverables meet the client’s expectations and needs;
  • Identify areas for operational improvement and efficiency and participate in budget monitoring.
  • Managing several files in parallel; Acting as coach and mentor to team members; Participating in the employee performance appraisal process;
  • Contribute to the recruitment and training of team members; Develop knowledge of the services offered by and be alert to business opportunities and development activities;

Requirements

  • CPA auditor designation;
  • More than five years’ practical experience in a firm, including 3 years in charge of complex assurance mandates;
  • In-depth knowledge of accounting and assurance standards, primarily ASPE;
  • In-depth knowledge of Canadian taxation;
  • Knowledge of Caseware – Knowledge of Taxprep
  • Strong leadership skills; Proven project and team management skills; Ability to develop strong client relationships;
  • Available to work on mandates mainly located outside Montreal;
    Fluency in spoken and written French and English.
