Responsabilities

  • Acting as a senior auditor on a variety of audit, review, compilation and various other assurance assignments;
  • Manage and supervise junior auditors throughout the assignment while ensuring the application of the firm’s values;
  • Preparation of tax returns (personal, corporate, etc.);
  • Working closely with other staff;
  • Communicating with clients on a daily basis and developing a relationship of trust;
  • Participate in special mandates;
  • Participate in employee training and evaluation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or equivalent;
  • DESS or equivalent (an asset) in accounting or auditing;
  • Have a professional designation such as CPA or CPA auditor (an asset);
  • Minimum of two years’ experience in an audit firm;
  • Experience and advanced knowledge of IFRS or private companies;
  • Experience and knowledge of preparing Canadian tax returns for individuals and companies;
  • Intermediate or advanced knowledge of Canadian Auditing Standards (CAS);
  • Knowledge of Caseware , CaseView and Taxprepun
  • French language skills (spoken and written); English language skills (an asset).
