The position involves supporting and assisting accounts payable clerks in their day-to-day tasks.

Responsabilities

  • Support, motivate, develop and manage the performance of the team in their daily tasks;
  • Develop and improve the department's operating and internal control procedures/tools and ensure that deadlines are met and procedures applied;
  • Produce various reports and monitoring tools and recommend corrective measures;
  • Collaborate and manage new projects relating to the accounts payable department;
  • Supervise capex and accounts payable;
  • Meet month-end deadlines;
  • Balance accounts payable (statement of accounts) and inter-company balances;
  • Verification of accruals;
  • Ensure the accuracy and relevance of data entry (nature, period, etc.) and administration;
  • Ensuring the accuracy of contract denunciations, follow-up of partial and final releases as well as CCQ and other compliance.
  • Answering various questions from suppliers regarding their accounts and expected payments;
  • Follow-up on payment agreements with suppliers and subcontractors;
